WE PRAISE AND THANK GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

...for the season of AUTUMN or FALL with its beautiful colors and changes around us;
...for the CHINESE YOUTH who helped put away tables and chairs at the end of the Missions Faire (forgot to give thanks last week);
...for AUNTY KATIE GOO who came to church after hip surgery several months ago;
...for returning worshippers RAYMOND & HSAIO YEH, former dean of the School of Årchitecture who recently was named one of the nation's 26 Most Admired Educators of 2009. His mother was a faithful Chinese Congregation member, attended our ESL and Bible study classes.
...for DOCTORS, NURSES, SPECIALISTS, CNAs and others who help diagnose and treat our many health conditions;
...for a MEMBER who had bypass surgery last week and is slowly recovering;
...for the PRIVILEGE AND POWER OF PRAYER to an awesome God who loves us.

WE BRING THESE PRAYER REQUESTS BEFORE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

1. FLORENCE CHANG attended a family reunion in Las Vegas and was hospitalized. Her blood pressure is very low and currently cannot return home on an airplance. Pray for her and her family - husband is CLIFFORD CHANG and her daughter is BRENDA KIYOTA, they attend the 7:45 AM Sunday services.
2. MASAMI MURAKAMI was diagnosed with bone cancer and lung problems. He started radiation treatment on Tuesday. Please pray that the radiation treatments will help to stop the cancer and the people who attend to him will help him not feel any pain.
3. Art Wong, JEFFRY WONG'S uncle is being transferred to Palolo Chinese Home from One Kalakaua.
4. The family of RANDY LEE, Campus Crusade for Christ missionary. His mother Flora Lee passed away this week. Services will be held on November 13, 2009 at Church of the Crossroads.
5. The UKULELE FELLOWSHIP will be sharing their ukulele playing and songs at Palolo Chinese home next week.
6. Those who are homebound or shut-ins: AUNTY ANNIE KWOCK, AUNTY LIZZIE WONG, AUNTY MILDRED YOUNG, UNCLE GEORGE ZANE, STELLA & JOE MENDEZ, UNCLE BENNEY PUNG, AUNTY ELEANOR BETHEL, ROSE PACHECO, AUNTY LILY LIU, KATHLEEN AI, AUNTY HARRIET YIN, ERNELLA KAM, MICHAEL NG, TUCK SING TONG, FRANCES ONAGA, DORCAS YEE, ETHEL & WUI LUNG,
7. The CHURCH BOARD ELECTION coming up in November.
8. PRESCHOOL'S OPEN HOUSE & HARVEST FAIR on Friday, October 30, 2009.

Those away on trips: MING & SIDNEY WONG (Egypt); ESTHER YUAN (Taiwan) 11.Ministries of our church: BIBLE STUDIES, SUNDAY SCHOOL, CHOIR, UKULELE FELLOWSHIP, SEWING FELLOWSHIP, SPORTS, YOUTH PROGRAM, W.O.W., HELPING HANDS 'OHANA, TUTORING ESL STUDENTS
12. HOMELESS around our church - help us to think on how we can help them
13. Bless all the MISSIONARIES who are sharing wonderful words of eternal life
