The First Chinese Church of Christ Pre-School 
Curriculum
We are a developmental preschool. We provide an environment which promotes
learning through play. Activities are provided to stimulate the physical,
emotional, social, cognitive (intellectual), and spiritual growth of the young
children. We believe that each child is a unique and special creation of God;
and we choose not to rush our children through their childhood. We offer many
opportunities for a child to play and learn through hands-on experiences and
exploration of his/her world through his/her five senses. Academics are offered
but NOT emphasized. Learning happens all day in our preschool and it is FUN!
We try to keep our curriculum balanced by including active play (for gross
motor development), quiet play (for creativity and imagination) and field
trips or other special events to supplement our monthly units of study. Outings
are taken on foot, chartered buses or on the city bus.
