Celebration of Life
Mrs. Lillian Ing has returned home to the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2009. We offer our condolences to the family. Funeral arrangements are pending.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
No Church Board Meeting
The Church Board will not be meeting for the month of July; the next meeting will be held on August 16, 2009.

Family VBS
A Family VBS has been scheduled for each Saturday during the month of August – August 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2009 from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM and is opened to children and their families. Registration forms are available with Karen Chang and in the church office.

Evangelism Training
The church has invited The Rev. Dr. Danny Yamashiro to speak Friday night, August 28th and Sunday, August 30th. You will be impressed with his testimony of surviving a fall from the Pali. Evangelism training on September 12th from 9 to Noon. An information table will be on the lanai every weekend until then. Come visit with us and learn about the church’s vision to reach our neighbors and family for Jesus.

Roof Repairs
In conjunction with the celebration of the church’s 130th anniversary, financial support is needed for the roof repairs of the Master’s Hall and Founders’ Hall. The church is currently seeking bids and anticipates the cost to be over $200,000.00. Therefore, the church would appreciate it if you, members and friends, would be willing to donate $130, or any amount you are led to contribute, to this project. Please indicate on your offering envelope and/or check, ‘130th Anniversary’. Your financial support is gratefully appreciated. Thank you and God bless you!

Fun Time
The following items are needed for the youth camp: 6 canes,,4x4s, walkers, 6 squeaky toys, used socks, 3 large old t shirts, 3 pairs of large sweat pants, 3 sets of old ear plugs, empty milk cartons, empty soda cans, light plastic landscape piping, tubing, small broken appliances, empty toilet tissue or hand towel rolls, paper boxes. Please place them in marked boxes on the stage in the gym by Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Thank you.
